Since 1999
We are marketing dinosaurs that were born in the last millennium.
Most of our competitors from the era of marketing formation in Ukraine have remained only in the memories of those times and on the rocks of caves. And our clients are among the top most expensive brands in the country.
At the beginning of our history, only international companies had marketing departments, while national companies were just starting to get acquainted with this area. And for many, it was the Bureau that became a guide to this new world of making a profit by satisfying consumer needs.
The global crisis was in full swing. There were five of us. As universal special forces, we solved the entire range of marketing tasks, working 16 hours a day. We managed to become P.M.C.
Over decades in the market, we have gained invaluable experience and are always synchronized with modern challenges. We have long ago learned all the “lessons” of experience and overcome mistakes that may seem like “fresh trends” ))
What is now considered a marketing database was introduced to the Ukrainian business environment a quarter of a century ago by us. Therefore, the history of the Bureau is not only a pleasant nostalgia for us, but also a source of information for everyone who reads this.
Our first projects
Invitation to the presentation of 3M - techniques for teaching. 1999
The first client, like the first love, is especially memorable. Especially when it is an American corporation and a world star in its industry – 3M.
For this Forbes 500 company, we conducted a sociological survey, provided B2B presentations, and organized a press conference, the invitation to which is still remembered by older journalists.
Early 2000s.
‘A FEW STORIES ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF THE FUTURE, TOLD BY THEM’
— is one of the Bureau’s major projects of the 2000s for ASKA. The market, which was used to direct sales and direct-to-consumer advertising, needed something more sophisticated and filigree.
The agency developed the first high-profile social advertising for ASKA insurance company: “The future is today. People of the 21st century”.
Together with the Inter TV channel, we shot a series of documentaries featuring 10-year-old Ukrainians: the same age as Ukraine and ASKA. This set the high standard for social projects in Ukraine.

2001
ROSHEN – the sweet mark of quality
Here we conducted a detailed analysis of the name and identified a list of risks. The name remained unchanged, and we started working on minimizing them.
At the beginning of the millennium, a high-quality national brand seemed like something fantastic, and consumers trusted imported brands more. So we had to build a brand and fight consumer distrust.
We developed the slogan “Sweet Quality Mark” and suggested starting the launch with a PR strategy.
This is how the trend of press breakfasts was created: delicious and intellectually filled.
2002
Close relations with Eurocar, the official representative of ŠKODA.
Interestingly, based on the research, the Bureau proposed to start the system’s market entry with a rational advertising campaign that would prove the advantages of the car. But Eurocar’s creative director insisted on a different concept. This is how the bright “ŠKODA-mania” was born.
We were the first in Ukraine not to adapt the Western model, but to make a commercial based on an original script.
And we were the first who propose an advertising campaign for cars in… the subway. Twenty years ago, everyone thought that “the target audience of Western cars does not ride the subway”. But the client’s trust allowed us to become innovators, also in the format of storytelling.
So here goes: more than 15 years of cooperation, more than 40 advertising campaigns and PR events. As well as research, media planning, events – everything you need to make your business thrive.
2006
We changed the consumer pattern for the ‘New World’ Champagne Factory.
Those were still the days when people chose champagne “to make it cheaper,” and there was no culture of consumption.
So we introduced a new premium segment to Ukraine, and our client was able to raise prices without losing the love of consumers.
We completely changed the perception of the market. We needed the latest, boldest solutions, not just following trends. If you want to survive, make your own rules of the world, but don’t forget about the existing ones.
The long journey with Bionorica began with the company’s German office.
The first thing we did for them was to provide PR support for the arrival of the company’s Chairman of the Board, Professor Michael A. Popp.
And then… And then they liked it so much that anniversaries, events, press conferences, PR events – all of them were organized by us. We created a corporate fairy tale on a scale that Hollywood would envy.
Roshen opened the largest logistics center in Ukraine with a total area of 60,000 square meters and a capacity of 45,000 tons.
We hosted the opening ceremony. There was a ceremony, a tour, a concert, and a press conference. The scale of the celebration was in line with the scale of the center. The builders handed over a symbolic key to the logistics center, and the corporation’s management promised new investments in the national economy.
During the Krayina Mriy festival, we presented a social project – a souvenir album called ‘Pride and Prejudice. Dedicated to Ukrainian Salo’.
Salo is truly our pride, not a defiled prejudice. This is what we brought to the masses.
The album is dedicated to one of the symbols of Ukraine.
It described the history of salo and busted myths about it. It included tips on choosing salo, recipes, and global experience of salo consumption.
Interesting information can be found, for example, in the sections: ‘Salo identification. The History of Salo – the History of Ukraine’, ‘Salomandra’, ‘VariousSalos’. The text in the album is presented in two languages: Ukrainian and English.
2009
We had our own magazine – Bistro!
This is a joint project of the creative advertising agency Marketing Technologies Bureau and Oleg Yatsun’s Design Studio.
The monthly magazine (with a circulation of 20,000 copies) was designed to inform readers about leisure, entertainment and shopping opportunities in Kyiv.
We were a partner of Market Lab!
A three-day non-stop “laboratory”.
In which 12 leading experts in the field of marketing, PR and event management held sessions and case studies on the most relevant topics.
150 participants tested the quality of their knowledge and applied it in practice, and received advice from the professional experience of Ukrainian marketing gurus.
It is also a year of long-term partnerships.
Creative Advertising Agency Marketing Technologies Bureau has received a one-year contract for comprehensive service of Marshall, Sadolin, Pinotex brands with ‘Akzo Nobel’.
Then we grew up and our PR department became a separate part of the marketing market.
The Dieslovo PR agency was created, positioning itself as an Bureau of effective PR.
The first high-profile project was Ukrainians: The Way to Ourselves. The aim of the project is to draw attention to the problems of self-identification of the Ukrainian people; search for a national idea; preservation and restoration of old traditions, as well as creation of new ones.
2010
And we started the new decade with a ‘raid’.
That’s how we kept our trade secrets safe.
Next to our office, we could see the destruction of about 200 videotapes with recordings of focus groups, in-depth interviews, and other research.
To make sure that the tapes could not be used, we decided to borrow the experience of fighters against pirated products. Of course, we didn’t have an excavator at hand, but a corporate car coped with the task.
2011
‘Happy Birthday, Shakhtar!’ from TM Sarmat.
We proposed the mechanics of the interactive project. To participate in the campaign, it was necessary to attend Shakhtar’s home game at the Donbass Arena.
There, you need to buy Sarmat draft beer and loudly congratulate your favorite club on its anniversary on camera.
The participant’s video postcard was posted on the promotional website, where online voting for the winners took place.
The authors of the best video greetings were awarded tickets to the Grand Show.
15 переможців отримали унікальну можливість вийти на поле «Донбас-Арени» та забити 11-метровий у ворота найсильніших та найкращих.
Market research for FAW with Car Product Test.
For some time, the Chinese delegation almost lived in our office:)
Bureau painted advertising platforms with ‘Aquarelle’
The main idea is that if you are “ripe” for family life, your own cozy nest will be very appropriate.
2012
We created an advertisement for Microsoft.
Special offer for a licensed Microsoft Office suite. The creative insight is simple but effective: “Stop using something that doesn’t work for you)))”
The laconic and ironic image reflects the appearance of those who use outdated, low-functional, and unlicensed software.
Also, 2010-2013 were full of pharma projects for Sanofi, Sandoz and Zentiva.
2014
We have completely severed relations with the aggressor country and continued to develop the Ukrainian.
We signed a contract with TM Biola. And in the autumn we presented their rebranding to the world.
2015
We proved to the world that Ukrainian DEKALB corn seeds are as good as imported ones.
The concept ‘Every grain is perfect. DEKALB’ emphasizes the high quality of all products, down to the last grain. The proposed design is interesting because it resembles the Ukrainian flag, which indicates local production.
Go to the projects section.
If you want more.
Recognition
Our office is decorated with diplomas and certificates :)
2006 – Marketing Technologies Bureau – three times winner of the Direct Hit competition.

The importance of this award is evidenced by the composition of the jury: the competition was judged by PR professionals from the US, UK, Germany, Slovakia, Latvia, Russia and Ukraine. The contestants included network PR agencies. And we are the most effective PR agency.
Marketing Technologies Bureau received awards of the III National Festival of Social Advertising in two nominations.

2013 — Creative agency Marketing Technologies Bureau among the winners of the 7th National Festival of Social Advertising.

Creative agency Marketing Technologies Bureau received a Golden Goodwin in the nomination Best Event for a Brand.
The jury noted the innovative approach to the presentation of the Skoda Octavia, which involved four types of art. At the first stage, painting and sculpture were used to focus on details. The second stage was a symbiosis of cinema and theater.
And then...
Even bigger projects!
With you and for your business!
And a very good description of our joint project! That did not leave hearts untouched.
Text from the future
Every time you get on the bus, you see our sign!
We thank all the bureaucrats!
Let us know if you have forgotten.
