“ATB-Market” is the largest discount supermarket chain in Ukraine, operating since 1993. The chain is present in 213 settlements across the country and has 800 stores, with more than 2 million Ukrainians shopping there daily.

TASK

On behalf of the company, our agency conducted a large-scale marketing research project that revealed the key needs and preferences of the target audience for the “ATB-Market” brand, both in relation to the chain’s stores and its competitors.

 

As part of the project, our researchers surveyed 2,550 real and potential customers of “ATB-Market” aged 22 to 65. The surveys were conducted within walking distance (up to 600 meters) of 50 “ATB” stores.

RESULTS

The result of the research was an accurate portrait of the brand’s target audience: its socio-demographic characteristics, preferences, and perceptions of the chain’s supermarkets. We were able to analyze how well “ATB” stores meet customer expectations and formulated recommendations for the development and promotion of the chain.
